Hello

Tom is obsessed with getting a wii thing (I blame Rob and Erin :spank: ) - now they're sold out everywhere online but I've read that I can order them on Amazon Germany.

It says the only negative thing about is that it 'Needs a continental plug adapter as it has no UK plug fitting' - what does this mean?? Can you buy a continental plug adapter in the shops?? Will it work??

Or will it be easier to pre-order one and wait for 584234 years??

Thank you :D

All you will need is the opposite of what you take to Ibiza for your hair drier they will cost about £3.

Do you want me to have a look about for an english one for you?

That what I thought, though when I was thinking of buying a cdj from Europe or the States, I learnt that I'll need a power transmogrificationifyer thing or whatever? Woudl it not be the same in this case?

If you brought it from the States then you would need a step up transformer as they only use 110V everywhere in europe uses 220v so all thats needed is a different plug

Do you think it's going to be a recipe for disaster me trying to order a wii off a German site 8O

If you know any English places then that might be easier

On a related noted, I saw the trailer to Transformers the movie last Friday

I am SO going to watch it the day it's released it untrue. AND Die Hard 4, which iirc is released on the same day.

Occasionally

I did go on there but all I could see was games and not the machine thing :?

see the big banner that say' "Wii back in stock" - kinda gives it away!

try looking in real shops, blockbuster, WH Smiths, PC World, Currys, Dixons...

but then you have to buy it with 4 games which tom may not want!

TBH there aint that many games out for it which make great use of the Wii's Unique remote.

Wii Sports is great tho. Red Steel didnt blow me away... not played Zelda yet tho. Wii Play was ok... and apart from theres not much out for it!
