And you thought your weather was bad

I know how you feel there, buddy... we've had 2 such cold spells this winter.

Today we're up to a balmy -13!

Well above freezing again here.

I think winters are a thing of the past over here.

Not a single snowflake this season!

We've had quite a bit of snow up here this year, but most days are just grey and dull and windy....

...must move abroad within the next few years8)

It sucks over here right now, it is 57 degrees F. We were having the most beautiful weather here. I even had a Canadian who lives outside of Toronto come down here when the weather was 90 degrees and in the evenings it was still like 70...he of course is now experiencing blizzard weather. Everyone should just migrate down to California for the winter, we need some cool, cultured people!

I visited Toronto at the end of January and I was in HELL. And all of them kept telling me it was "BALMY" and great weather meanwhile I am shivering uncontrollably, its raining, I don't own closed toed shoes or a good jacket since I was born in Palm Springs was raised in San Diego and now live in Los Angeles. I have no concept of winter or cold but that one trip to Canada was enough to make me thankful I am from So. Cal no matter how much everything else sucks...being that cold is torture. I am sorry, Canadakid. Though I will be subjecting myself to two weeks of Ontario weather...how is the weather in early March? Is edmonton much different than toronto, weather wise?

It's warming up lovely in FLT at the moment, I went out with a thin spring jacket on today and my new sunnies on 8)
Morbyd did I mention my impending hol in 3 weeks ?

The winter here this year has been very mild. I blame the americans and their polution for the climate change :p ;)

 @ Ferd

CanadaKid - it's like that all across Siberia. In Yakutia, it gets down to -60 C in winter and up to 40 C in summer. Harsh continental climate.

Canadakid.. as a fellow Deadmontonian, I feel the pain..

The weirdest thing about all of this is depsite our -41C temps .. there is no snow.

Summer can't come soon enough!

Crikey, that really IS cold!!
Finland has experienced a couple of really cold weeks this winter, too, but luckily not below -30 C where I live.
Roll on summer!!
