don't mind flashdance tho, actually quite like it.

Loalas theme sounded amazing back in feb when I first started hearing it, now it's just another chat tune thats been played to death - always happens to the good tunes tho
 
Not sure this is being played in ibiza if it is god help us. Here in dubai and when I was Cyprus there is a dance remix of California Dreaming being played. Its funkin awful. Please don't tell me it is terrace anthem in the love is in the air stylee.

i love flashdance but agree that lolas theme is getting on my nerves as its played to death

lolas theme is quality, just a shame it was taken and squeezed by the music companies for every last drop of money they could get...

the orignal version that came out at the end of last year on nocturnal will be a classic house tune...

all you haters are in the minority, you're just reacting to it's success... trying to look cool by hating comercial dance music!! its a farce! :D

it would definitly be in my top 100 house tunes! 8)

Don't think there were any bad tunes really....

Those that were overplayed and started to annoy, all came about months before a lot of people heard them, and were causing a big buzz/reaction whenever they were played.
So it's that old debate, when does a cool tune become uncool??

This was the case for so many of this years (dare i say it) 'big' tunes.

But once again it's all about personal opinion.
One person is loving a tune because they are just getting into it, and another person on the other side of the dancefloor, it loathing every second because he had it six months ago on cdr.
People start to dislike it, for not being 'underground' anymore, because the Disco Dave at their local nightclub in town has started playing it.

As i said, i really don't think that there were any 'bad' tunes of this year, some were merely overplayed, mis-timed, and sold-out beyond all recognition. Add a vocal/don't add a vocal, if you don't like the track, don't play it.
If you are in a club and it gets played, don't worry, it'll only be 4/5 minutes until the next tune is on....

i agree with u mambobirdette, i really liked it at first but have to admit ive got quite sick of it, its a bad sign when u are constantly hearing it in ur local costcutter :lol:

Good news is that it'll be one of those classics that when you hear it 2-3-4 yrs time you'll love it again...

Deep Dish - Flashdance is good.But i do agree that Lola's theme has been played to death.
 
I agree its been a great year for house music,one of the best in a long while but.....I can't stand the new version of strings of life in any way,shape or form!!!!
