Amsterdam Clubbing

Hi,

anyone been to the dam lately? im going in a few months and could do with some clubbing recommendations. i dont want to spend all my time sitting in coffeeshops!

have a look at this website. It's for an event but it is a good resource for maps of clubs etc.

There are some quality places there. The Melkweg springs to mind - a great room.

Better than 11

Agentundercover is the man when it comes to Amsterdam

You can find quite a lot in other threads here about it.
Last time I was there I visited the new club "Eleven" which was supposed to be the hottest club at the moment.
Personally I think it is the worst club I have ever visited. The sound quality was poor and the place looked like a dump ready to fall apart. Amsterdam is great, and you'll find better spots (Escape for example) if you manage to walk after being at the coffeeshops.

11 has Funktion-One sound! I think that sound is very good there. They have hot international dj´s. And then there is a view from 11th floor...
