Amsterdam Clubbing .... Help Please..

Good morning all :)

The misus and I are going to Amsterdam for the weekend and would like to go to a decent club in Amserdam.

Any and all suggestions are welcome, I'm sure all you Spotlight veterans can suggest somewhere decent :)
 
I'm not sure our friend would enjoy escape :o .

Panama looks decent, closes a bit early at 4:00 but is the favourite at the minute.

good to eat
good to get space cakes
good to get/do shrooms and the like

There is a club called Zebra that I sumbled across that looks decent, anyone know about this place, it seems quite new?

discodude: The best shop for all kinds of mind-altering substances is Magic Mushroom on Spuistraat.
Space cakes you can buy in certain coffee shops.

What are the dress codes for the clubs. Are they any diffrenet than over here?

Can you get away with trainers jeans and tshirts (exceptionally cool ones mind 8) )??

I've been to the Dam a few times over the years but this time i want to see more than coffee shops and titty bars.

Have you sorted your accommodation yet?

We booked the flight with KLM a while back and thought we would get somewhere to stay quite cheap nearer the date of arrival :oops:

The past two days have been manic searching every site on the net for somewhere central to stay, everywhere was booked up! We ended up with somewhere called Hotel 83 apparently right bang in the middle of the Red Light District :lol:

I am looking forward to a cheeky bag of Hawians on Saturday afternoon :twisted:

Hi mate

I booked Hotel Rho, which is just of dam square. I've stayed there before, it's a converted theatre - cheap and cheerful and bang in the centre.

Let me know how you get on 8)
 
this friday there'll be earth in melkweg with desyn masiello and the local lads :D

very cool club with 2 rooms, an art exhibition, a coffee place / restaurant and a teehouse and it's right next to leidseplein so there'll be lots of nice places to have a few drinks beforehand. i'm going there myself so don't hesitate to ask if you need any info :)

panama is also ok but a bit far from the center and zebralounge is just terrible, imo.

That sounds interesting, would be nice to see a local club. I had a look on the web site but my foreign language skills are even worse than my English!

Could you give any more details? Times and music etc?

I had a look at your Ibiza photo's, very good :) It's great to see other peoples photo's when we have missed going this year.

check out the site of the venue www.melkweg.nl and the party http://www.earth-link.nl/ they're both in english. melkweg opens around 23 and closes at 6.

haven't heard desyn in a while so can't really say what he plays nowadays but he's with bedrock which should be a good sign ;)
