Yeah, they were. I only went once but it was absolutely amazing. I’ve never seen the Amnesia terrace like that in my life.

What was it like at Space?
The terrace at amnesia was fantastic. The after party at space was also good but better inside, the music on the terrace was a bit flat for that time of the morning.

So did Amnesia just close around the time it normally does then everybody moved onto Space?

I think it was about 9 and most people go straight to Space.

Baically Amnesia's like two different clubs on that night, you've espuma in one room and La Troya on the terrace, we didn't even go inside.
The foam party finished a few hours before and you get all these kids coming out to the terrace covered from head to toe in foam, it was quite a funny sight at 6 in the morning

no, the promoter of 'la troya' is a brasilian guy
called 'brasilio'
he is very well known in ibiza.
he also hosts the 'brasilian party' one saturday in the summer.

Is that man Brasilio this one who's about 45 y.o. bald on the top but with a little long hair on the back of the head and with a goatee?

As for La Troya, I wouldn't call it happy house. Happy house sounds like too commercial and sung house. There's some commercial and sung house indeed, but there's also a lot of tribal and latin house.

And as the people is saying, it's just on the terrace, with main resident DJ Oliver. DJ Mar-T plays a harder house and tech-house in the other room, also with younger people. And the foam is not all the night, but pretty late in the night.

It's highly recommended for people who like the most flamboyant, colourful and outrageous (but beautiful as well) side of Ibiza, in other words, very different to the catwalk show of Pacha or El Divino.

No no, Brasilio is a bit older. Go to http://www.latroyaasesina-ibiza.com and click on "team", he's second from the left. He's been en la isla forever and managed Coco Loco bar in KU/Privilege before it moved to Amnesia which was way nicer than it is now on the terrace of Amnesia and soooo much nicer than the glass cage that it is now at Privilege. La Troya's original name at Privilege was "La Vaca Asesina" btw but they had to change the name when they moved to Amnesia as Privilege owned the copyrights. Privilege then tried to carry on La Vaca without Brasilio and co. but gave up after one season.

Sven Väth will be taking his Cocoon parties back to Amnesia for another season this year in Ibiza.

Monday nights will again be flavoured with the finest techno as Sven Väth (pictured right) invites some special guests to help him blow up the floor at Amnesia from 28th June.

Past guests have included the likes of Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Josh Wink, Pascal FEOS, Oliver Bondzio, Frank Lorber, Toni Rios, Ricardo Villalobos, Funk D'Void and Chris Liebing. However this year's guests have yet to be announced but each night will more than cater for the discerning techno bod.

Sven Väth will be taking Cocoon on the road in the meantime as he stops off at seven yet to be named European cities from April until June, before spending the summer on the white isle.

Amnesia, on the San Antonio Road at San Rafael, opens on Saturday 12th June with a residents party. Will there be any new residents? You'll have to wait and see.
