Amnesia VIP for 20euro extra - Is it really worth it?

I thought it might have been one of those rules that made most of the punters least think about their clothing rather then rock up wearing beach clothes.

Yeah, I think you're right. Had a similar experience in Pacha VIP. First member of security told me I would have to go away, change and come back. A colleague of his whispered in his ear then they both waved me through. The second doorman said "you wear shorts, but you are smart".

I would imagine they are probably more picky when the VIP is busier.
