Will Ibiza eventually cut its nose off to spite it's face though? The island economy is hugely reliant on the 'big clubs' I imagine and to be fair without them creating the image of Ibiza all them years ago we wouldn't be where we are now.
Nothing is perfect in life not even Ibiza! However, I don't think they could close amnesia without big repercussions financially, though space is soon to be gone(in current state, too many rumours to even say what will happen but) I honestly doubt Ibiza would survive without the music scene, it's beautiful yes but and we all know there's more to Ibiza then the music BUT the planet has many alternatives that offer better then Ibiza without the music. Ibiza had/has a big part in music still, they need to keep this to thrive forever *only my opinion.
It's almost a double edge sword I personally think the island needs both and hence makes it what it is.
Anyway I'm pissed

Point in there somewhere is 'would they really close amnesia'? 5000 tourists probably more daily for nearly half the year? It would be a huge move towards an Ibiza that isn't thinkable after the last 30 years!
It's such a huge situation currently for both sides and I'm only looking in from the outside anyway but still, as the English say 'food for thought'(shit saying lol)
It's as complicated and ridiculous as the brexit or remain campaign currently but let's hope it resolves positively on both sides or I think Ibiza as we know it will slowly slip away from those of us who enjoy the experience while the suits dig their heels in and play devils advocate from their huge mountain villas out of touch with reality, much like our uk politicians
