Alternative to Hakkasan ??

Can people who frequent FLT please recommend a nice restaurant please

I really love Hakkasan, but fancy trying somewhere different, along the same lines, and in central London. And not too posh.

Any suggestions ?? 8)

Thats the place with the tea rooms upstairs, no ? Went a couple of years ago, was nice.

Forgot to mention... Sumoson is very popular among the footballers and jet set. You're sure to make a sighting or two

cheers mate. Whats the atmosphere and decor like, cant reall tell by the pics Its not stuffy is it ??

Do they take quite large reservations ie 8 - 10 people, and can we go late ish say 9 - 9.30pm ??

I didn't find it stuffy at all (although I wouldn't start a food fight or anything ). Decor is nice but atmosphere was relaxed... of course, I wasn't totally sober last time I was there
