DROP THE BEAT - PRESS THE FLESH!

Ooooh, we're feeling all fresh and fruity, touchy feely as we limber up for this month's Saturday Allstars! It's mid-summer and we're gonna strip off and dance naked* in the beer garden. A beer belly is this summer's must-have accessory - which is lucky for us!

We'll be keeping outta shape and flaunting our flesh at our next dirty house and breakbeat mash-up at The Progress Bar, in Tufnell Bar, N7, on Saturday 17th July. Not going to The Glade Festival that day? f*** it, Saturday Allstars is so the next best thing - like winning a tenner on a scratchcard rather than scooping the £10 million lottery jackpot.

Come along and see just how friendly DJ Friendly (Chew The Fat) really is! Not only is the London-based Australian a bit of a clever dick in the studio, he walked off with Best Newcomer Award at this year's Breakspoll Awards. Smug git. Hell, he's so friendly he's gonna give away all his money... And his records... And his drugs.

Ex-Hybrid DJ J-Me is back to scratch your itch. Criminally underrated, J-Me blew us away with his turntable skills at our launch party. So we've roped him in as our bi-monthly resident - which means Allstars is the best itchy and scratchy show this side of Springfield.

Resident Johnny A will be masquerading as a DJ, the Cheshire Catz are out to prove they're no pussies with edgy, attitude laden house and Dempsey and Buckley will be kicking it all off - if Dempsey can get his ridiculously large Afro through the god-damn door.

Don't forget, there's a BBQ, cheap cocktails (2 for 1 from 5pm - 9pm), concession passes to Chew The Fat later at The Key, and free insults. Saturday Allstars - more fun than a 12-hour session with a gang of nubile nymphettes. Probably.

Hi Buckley, am glad that you enjoyed your last visit to Allstars, we hope you can have as much fun next time. Why not join the crowd as we stand there and look pretty!!
 
Monday's update!!!

The weather is set to be good for the weekend! That means we can dust off the BBQ and start sipping cocktails on the steps of the Progress Bar's very own terrace! Who needs ibiza!!?? Well it does for those of you who are stuck in the UK!
