hello there,
Just interested in hearing various opinions on the new Alfredo mix on MOS. I think it's a pretty stunning collection of tracks that straddle pop and early house..especially CD 1 William Pitt and James Browne...I love his personal reflections on each track as well...It must have been truly amazing listening to this warm music in an open air club in mediterranean temperatures in the mid/late 80s...
CD 2 is housier with the teffifying Phuture featured...also the opener bootleg of Mr Fingers & Luther King speech...
I know it's probably studio mixed, but all in all, compiled brilliantly...

btw is there any club/bar presently in Ibiza that features the true balearic sound?

Upstairs terrace in Space we found was best. Having said that never went to Cafe del Mar this time round and I guess thats where it all started

Listened to it this morning! real fusion, rich & warm, loads of tunes forgotten about!! How bad is that Tears For Fears track!! Need to get Dave Spoon to update it!!

Another brill track is the one that follows Art of Noise..i think it's from the 70s...Curtis Mayfield is in the credits...so I'm guessing he played a role...stunning track...that one never hears on daytime radio (which is a good thing).
