AKASHA 2023

After the big clubs have all been disappointing lately, we checked 2 tickets via spotlight for the first time, sven on 7 september, we can't wait :) The only thing that makes us a bit pensive is getting a taxi back to Figueretas in the morning.... never mind :) See you at the dancefloor real freaks !

I was a little worried about this but there were taxis waiting when the night ended. Jimmiz' plans sound more fun though, unfortunately didn't get to do any of that! 😂

And even if you have to wait 30mn or 1h for a taxi, you're on holiday, no stress, enjoy a talk with the others people, have a joint, make love while you wait the cab 😁

Funny story, kind of!

When I got in my taxi, some random guy jumped in, wouldn't get out (for a while!) and was saying, "We can do it, we can make it work!!"

I'd seen him getting hauled out by security about an hour earlier so I thought, maybe not! 🤣

Hey - that's good to hear, as we were looking for somewhere to go with our 15 year old.

Can you share a little bit more detail about what it was like please, @El Gato ?

Ooh! Interested. How old are your kids? More info appreciated! Mine are 8 and 10 so would like to know if they'd like it

I'd definitely recommend it. Our kids are both young, one is 5 and the other is 21 months. The youngest was just bopping along in the baby carrier on my chest with some ear defenders on for a lot of it. Great fun.

Its all in the garden until 11pm, though I didn't see any suggestion there was super strict clearing out time, we left by about 5 past 11. The 5 year old loved the mime/clown show (big crowd of kids for this), loved all the stalls (wanted henna and her tarot read...had to put the foot down on those ones as she's, well, 5, but she got full disco face paint done). There is a chilled seating area at the buddha where a lot of the kids were hanging out. There were kids of all ages there, lots of teenagers as well. Quite a lot of residents seemed to be there, with their kids, looked like a regular thing for a lot of them, think they're free entry so can see why. The crowd itself was what you'd expect at las dalias, a real mix, lots of wafts of nice smelling smoke as you walked about. :)

Tunes were great, afro house mainly, nice driving beats which fit with the crowd perfectly. Down at the bottom there was a fire going, people were being blessed with big smoking bowls of incense and the whole vibe was really chilled.

We got a taxi up to sant carles for an early dinner which was really nice. By the time we got sorted though, we were later than we had hoped so it was slightly after 8 we got into namaste. I would probably try to go closer to 7 for the kids next time, so they would have longer there while it was quieter (not that this was an issue, just an observation on my part). You can also eat at las dalias, and the food does look good. There is a pizza van as well, again the pizzas looked good, but with a big queue. I would probably think about that next year, go up early and have food and save dinner and drinks in sant carles for another day.
 
When does Sven usally start there, at 8?
We will land fpr the closing at 7 and would like to know how much we need to hurry :cool:
