Airport lounge closed?

Some websites list the "Cap des Falco" VIP lounge at the Ibiza airport as temporarily closed until further notice. Is it true? Is there any information on if/when it is going to reopen?

The lounge was very handy for having a decent breakfast when departing early 😢

.... don't know anything for sure, but this lounge has had a few owners / name changes in the past years, maybe nothing unusual and will open again soon..... ?

please can the island get over it's obsession with this piss poor beer?
100% agree ,
Industrial beers such as heineken , Stella Artois, Estrella... are very simple pilsner beers with a very basic recipe revised to the cheapest but with a super-strong commercial strength.
Craft beers are something else

Always trust the Belgian when they talk about beer.

As of 22nd of May the lounge is STILL closed , there does appear to be work going on but at an Ibizian pace, it's been closed since about January.

How many lounges are there in Ibiza airport? I’ve been to one last year and it wasn’t great. The shops and stuff in the main terminal were better.

I emailed the airport about the lounge two weeks ago, they replied it was going to reopen in the middle of May:

Hello,

will the "Cap des Falco" Lounge open again, and when?
Buenos días, tenemos previsto abrir a mediados de este mes. Aún no tenemos una fecha exacta. Estamos trabajando para mejorar nuestras instalaciones.
Disculpe las molestias ocasionadas.

(I am talking about the AENA lounge next to the gate 1 and not the Heineken bar)

Just the AENA "Cap des Falco" lounge near gate 1. I understand some bars call themselves lounges, but there is only one proper lounge (with free food and drinks). It isn't that bad for a regional airport, there is really good OJ for breakfast, decent hot and cold snacks, drinkable alcohol, nice seats and views towards the salinas.
