Afternoon cuppa...

I've moved on from my normal cup of Tetleys and discovered Peppermint tea. I have never been a fan or herbal teas until I tries this one! It tastes nice and is good for you! I found this online:

Some believe peppermint tea has healing effects, as a result of the menthol that it contains. It may ease such problems as irritable bowel syndrome, nausea and vomiting. It can also control mild asthma, and even help to manage stress. Some brands of peppermint tea list these benefits on their labels. Some believe peppermint tea has healing effects, as a result of the menthol that it contains. What's your afternoon cuppa? :D

I read that 4 cups of tea so now make sure I get close to that.

Not that I believe everything I read lol

Tea wise I like a marks&sparks normal tea bags or Twinings Green Tea:)

I'm just having a Peppermint tea now too ;)

I also like the Clipper Fairtrade green teas - they come with Lemon or Ginkgo, Ginseng or Echinacea - they're yummy :D

I had a cup of peppermint, nettle and milk-thistle this morning - it's meant to be cleansing (although I think it may take more than herbal tea to cleanse my insides).

I also like lemon and ginger tea in the evening because I don't drink caffeine after I get home from work.

During the day it's just plain old normal tea.

That's why I've been drinking so much Peppermint tea today but I fear the peppermint is fighting a losing battle :?

do you know that piano's on my foot

oh, and lemon verbena is great too
we have a verbena plant and pick off the leaves and pop them in the teapot. very nice indeedy

Anyone try Tickety-Boo, the chari-tea? I'm wondering if it's still available because I can't find it online anymore. I bought two boxes at Tesco's in 2004 and never finished them; the caffeine was way too strong for daily consumption. Very bold taste, no sugar needed, and is great when I need to stay awake without jitters.

I like a nice Shroom cuppa .. it helps make the evening !!!

I love my "cold season tea" apparently it's good for you in fluctuating weather conditions  They also do a "detox" tea, a "night time" tea - all herbal and not the horrible fruity kind ;)

The only downside is they are no use for dunking biscuits!

I love green tea... but the real kind ... not the green tea bags.. yuck!

I have recently been making my own chai tea. many coffee shops, tea places, have this horrible syrupy powder that they add boiling water too... its horrible! a real home brewed chai is lovely!
