Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg - All night Ministry of Sound

Anyone else off to this ? Can't wait for it. I hear it's one of the highest selling pre ticket sales for MoS this year , should be a good one

I'm not surprised its about the only world class act they've had walk through their doors for some years. Amazing main room in that place, with the sound system and lighting - but gets filled with EDM/Trance all the time so its often wasted.

I think MoS are clever though. Don't go head to head with fabric etc, have a niche and always pretty busy. Defected is a big night for them and occasional bigger nights like this, Digweed etc.
 
Really good night last night. Was looking forward to it a lot and we all know that this can be a mistake if you build up to a night too much! Really good to see MoS properly busy, and at times you might think it was impossible to get in the box but generally with some careful navigation you could get down the front or sides where there was a good amount of dancing room.

Seeing some of the people in the queue with me did worry it might be a bit London/Essex aggy and while you would certainly think by looking it might have been we didn't experience any problems.

Anek in 103 warming it nicely playing some decent stuff. We got into the box pretty much bang on 1 to see Adam & Ida start and they didn't disappoint, thought they built it up nicely during the 5 hours they played, at times relentless and Ida at time was dropping some absolutely filthy basslines. I wear earplugs out but took them out for parts of the night and the noise/vibrations was incredible. Made me appreciate the difference in class between a lot of DJs at the moment just happy mixing tracks in and out and the way Adam & Ida get their loops just right to build in and out of breakdowns. Whole thing was seamless.

Respect to LWE top promoters and always put on a good event. Look forward to Drumcode at Halloween Tobacco Dock now
 
Totally agree. It was ace. I was driving, but had a ball nonetheless. Front of the Box was by far the best location. It was absolutely the right kind of busy. Wouldn't have changed a thing. Top stuff
 
Ministry of Sound has the best sound system in the world. And they only play it up to 30% of its capacity apparently.
 
Would of loved to have been able to make this but had promised to go to another night at Fire.

Roll on Cocoon in Ibiza in Sept and Drumcode in October. Excited to go see what tobacco dock has in store.

I should be going to Tobacco Docks event too. Loved it a couple of years back.
