accomodations confusion

Hi, Ibiza virgin here, looking for accomodation and totally confused. I'll be there sometime in Aug 03 w/2 other girlies ready to party and soak sun! Where should we NOT stay, and where are the recom'd places for a low-modest budget. We could possibly have a place in San Jose, is that good or bad? seems removed from it all, hard to tell...

san jose is one of my personal favourite 'villages' it has some excellent bars and restaurants, some nice shops ( my wife's favourite bathroom shop is here), is very quiet, and is an excellent base for beaches and countryside. because of this it attracts a, shall we say, more 'mature' type of holidaymaker.

Thanks for your reply. Actually we are looking for a more open, "clubber" type atmosphere. However, we are 27-32 years old, so we are not looking for "club kids" hotels/hostels. We'd like a nice mix of like minded party-goers who have fun, but are more mature and responsible.
