Hi there guys.
I'm off to Eivissa this friday, and i'm staying there for 3 nights.
I got the tickets to space privilege and amnesia, and i'd also like to visit cafe del mar.

it's a great place to relax on the beach while chill out surrounds you... specially after hours, after a great party, or at sunsets. But I don't really know how it works. I mean.. what is it exactly? Is it just a cafe near the sea? You come into the beach for free and lay there listening to music? or perhaps you need to pay to et in, as in any disco? If so, what's the price?
We don't have much money actually... I know it's a problem in Eivissa but that's what it is...

and about manumission: i've read in this forum "manumission is rip". I understand that it's no longer alive... Is that right?? So, what's up now in privilege on fridays??? I've visited the website and this friday it's suposed to be manumission, but there is actually not much information. I hope that who said that was wrong... I'd love to go to manumission party!!

Oh!! one more question... How expensive are the meals in san antonio??? We are staying in a hotel with no meals...

thanx a lot!!! C U @ Eivissa!!!

Muahaha, How lucky then!!! :D :D :D :D

Another question came to mind.. I got the timetable of discobus but... What discos does it take people to?? I mean, what is it's itinerary exactly? Coz I'm afraid that bus will be my main mean of transport in the island.. :)

Thanx again!! ;)

The disco busses will get you from San An to Privilege and Amnesia so no worries there. Getting to Space is more complicated as you'll need to switch busses along the way.

As for meals, you can spend anywhere from 5 euros (supermarket, Burger King, sandwich shop) up to 50 euros or more (nice restaurant) so there's a broad range. You can usually find somewhere to get a halfway decent sit-down meal for 10 plus drinks if you're on a tight budget.

Cafe del Mar is a bar/cafe on the Sunset Strip in San Antonio. You'll find there's several places along that stretch including Cafe Mambo, Savannah, etc. People mainly go there to watch the sunset, a revered event in Ibiza, or have drinks before going out.

While there is a small beach between the cafes and the water, it's not very good and definitely not the type of place where you'd spend a whole afternoon relaxing and swimming. Entrance is free as it's a public beach. The bars along there tend to look down on bringing your own beverages, though I'm not sure how legal their enforcement of that might be (or if they even bother anymore).

apparently the drinks in cafe del mar are dead expensive so being the cheap money saving students that we are we bought some beer from the shop and sat on the rocks outside to watch the sunset, got there about arf 7 but by 8 it was packed with people doing the same thing, plus you can still listen to the tunes coming from inside.
Food is priced as said between 5-30 euros, but you can get good stuff for less than 10,coastline is a great place to eat and watch the sunset also as its good value(youll probebly get dragged in by the pr's anyway)
