abdomin workout

Either, but remember ab training only strengthens and tones the muscle group, it will do nothing to remove fat.

Not suggesting you're fat though Mambs ;)

It's just most people think training abs will reduce the size of their waist.

Remember its all one big long muscle-not 2 contrary to belief!

Try this: Lie with your back on the floor, and raise your legs 90o, for 10 reps.
Its a killer at first but keep at it

Also adopt same position, raise your legs 6". Hold for 10 seconds. Open legs to the sides, hold for 10 more seconds. Back to centre still holding legs up 6" pretend you are walking, then cycling. Loop the lot ;)

A lot of People forget to work their Obliques and thats why they dont see as good results as they could. And remember you need to add intense cardio to get a tight washboard stomach!

a good low carb, high protein, medium fat diet with a good 3/4 day split workout would bring them abs right out. Maybe one HIT cardio work out a week for 20 mins (High intensity).IMHO

That doesn't really answer the question: What would you say was better for the old sit ups?

Using the big bouncy ball or the ab roller?

Try weighted crunches on the big bouncy ball (swiss ball). Put the ball in front of a low cable pull, attach a rope to the cable, get on ball & grab rope from behind your neck, CRUNCH. Either way (w/ or w/out weights), I prefer the ball over the ab roller.
