A Weeks Itineray...help /advice /pointers /recommendations plz

SHM tickets aren't on sale yet. Pukka Up sells out quite quickly (as it is a little boat rather than a huge club).

As for the boat party, well thats a bit ****e :roll: esp as they 'say' they are dearer when on the island...dam it :evil:
 
Head to DC10 on the Monday and then push on to SHM @ Pacha around 1am.

Think carefully about SHM as it will be packed. Other nights there may provide you with a better night to appreciate the club.

Def do Bora Bora before We Love, it's a must do. Dancing and drinking on the beach is wicked.

If you were looking for a good night out round the bars and a dinner then Ibiza Town is well worth a visit.

On the Saturday you arrive its worth poking your head in the West End for half hour but then please escape, it's not pretty. Hed Kandi is on at Es Paradis, maybe worth a visit depending on what your music tastes are like, good oppurtunity to enjoy another club and not that pricey as you can come and go.

Im guessing you need tickets for this DC10 business - again, dnt really know much about that night ?! defo understand what you say about pacha- alot of ppls have said it :?

So sunday, head to bora bora then space ?!

wheres ibiza town in conjunction to where i am (san ann central)....jesus i really am going in blind to Ibiza lol

First time we went, we went for a week, and did
Tiesto @ Priv, Water Party @ Es Paradis and Cream @ Amnesia.

All were good nights out.
This year, if money is no object (hah...) then i will be out most of the two weeks I am there. :)
 
You will probably be able to get free tickets for Hed Kandi. Just look out for reps giving out wrist bands throughout the day in San An.

You won't need a ticket for Hed Kandi and Es Paradis is in San An, so deffo a good option for your first night.

Ibiza Town and Bora Bora (Play Den Bossa) are both the other side of the island so San An, so will involve taxi or bus journeys to get there, taxi would be about €30, the cheaper option is the bus though, which is only a few € and there is a bus station in San An.

DC10 is tickets that you can snap up on here.

As you are planning Space on the Sunday then Bora Bora before is a must. One of my favourite places.

Ibiza Town is a 5 minute cab from PDB, from San Ann you are looking at a 25 minute odd cab, you can bus it but when you are all glammed up for the night you dont want any of that lark.

On you first night you might just want to play it by ear. Hit a few bars and then if you fancy Hed Kandi just walk over to Es Paradis. You may find people handing our ristbands that will provide discounted entry. Obviously if you were 100% up for that night then get your tickets on here before you head over but I always find the 1st night is best to just go with the flow, you will be buzzing when you arrive and will be out until the sun comes up.

Few recommends already, this is what I would do as an Ibiza virgin. Bear in mind that I am knocking on the door of 40 years young.

Pace yourself, or you will regret it.

Its okay planning but Ibiza has a habit of changing your plans.

Here we go,

Sat -

Just have a few drinks round San An. Your flight may be delayed so make no plans. Saturdays are not the main night in Ibiza.

Sun –

Bora Bora PDB from 4.30pm then

Space for WLS. Buy a full ticket to get the passout. Space is literally over the road from Bora Bora. Aim to arrive 7pm ish to potentially catch Jason Bye, Alfredo then potentially Funkagenda at 10pm and then watch the place go mental. Use your passout to get some food and cheap drinks in PDB then return for some Discoteca/Main Terrace action.

Mon –

DC10 (Its near PDB on the Salinas road) get there before nightfall. ***DO NOT DO SHM*** It is rammed to levels which will seriously spoil your fun.

Tue –

Pukka Up Boat party from San An 6pm till 9pm then Carl Cox at Space (35E at the moment early bird. Price includes Boat and Space entry). Cox is an institution in Ibiza and he also has some good guests. Catch him on the SST from 10pm where the vibe is more housey.

Wed –

Sunset strip then

Ibiza Rocks then

Es Paradis for the after party (there is a deal on the tickets which incudes both. Es Paradis is a beautiful club.

Thurs-

You will want to return to Bora Bora. Try to get there before sun down then party on!

Try other bars in PDB such as Ushuaia, Sands and La Plage.

You may wish to try Cream at Amnesia.

Fri -

Its all gone Pete Tong. I think this may be good this year. Telephone the restaurant at the club and book a table for about 11pm. Once you are in the restaurant your access to the club is free. Expect to pay about 60-70Epp for food and drinks. Your entry would be about 50E in any case so its a no brainer.

As for Sunday, only thing is, wel be at bora bora then going to space without freshening up so to speak, is that kind of ok / normal ?!
 
Excellent schedule by Deepseadiver ^. As others have said, pace yourself and enjoy it. Turn it into a test of endurance and you will probbably crash and burn (usually on the night you are most looking forward to on my past experince). Your are 23, you have another 10-20 years of visitis to get through yet!
 
Bora Bora will be packed with people who will head off straight to Space. You will want to dress in something cool anyway, those nights get hot.
 
Vic, it's all down to your music taste.

We can all say 'go here, go there' but it's down to the music. There is just no point paying €40 for a night where you won't get in to the music.
If you don't really enjoy pumping techno or minimal and prefer to hear pop / dance songs, try privilege as DC10 may not be for you on the Monday.

Generally speaking, what do you prefer to hear on a night out?
 
It really all does depend on how much money you and your friends are prepared to spend & what sort of music you're all into.

I'd personally never do SHM again as it is far too busy, i paid 50euros for my ticket last year and spent no longer than an hour in there...before the swedes even came on.

If you are just looking to go out, have a good few drinks a dance etc then this can all easily be done in the West End, far too many people who aren't really into their proper clubbing / music often feel like they have to hit the big nights just because they are in Ibiza and dont enjoy it half as much.

Ibiza Town is about 25/30 euros in a taxi across the island. It's also near Playa D'en Bossa which is where Space and Bora Bora are.

You can always get tickets while you're on the island but if you're unsure on where to get them then you should purchase them online.

Also if you are purchasing tickets online, sometimes you have to take photo id with you to prove the ticket is yours.
 
Its a myth that you need tickets in advance for CircoLoco @ DC10 , I think it might even be the same price on the door although this might have changed since I was last there. Without doubt the best thing you can do on a monday afternoon in Ibiza!
 
It works both ways though. You can enjoy somewhere like We Love Sundays for the expeience with out really being into the music. Sometimes you don't know if you like something until you try.

That said everyone is shooting in the dark with out knowing what music and nightlife you are into. I would do the Bora Bora/We Love Sundays double header though.
