We can now announce that our opening date for this summer will be Sunday June 17th! Our website will be launching very very soon, once www.oceanbeachibiza.com is live you will be able to book VIP beds online and much more!

We can also anno unce that Hotel Bahia will now be changing to the Ocean Beach Hotel Ibiza. In 2013 Ocean Beach hotel Ibiza will go through a renovation and transform itself into one of the top hotels on the Island!

Due to unforeseeable circumstances, we have had to push back our opening date. We can now officially announce that our Grand Opening will be on Thursday 28th June.

On Thursday June 28th, the long awaited Ocean beach club Ibiza will open for its first summer!

Come and join us from midday onwards...., where you will be able to listen to the Balearic beats played by our collective mix of headline and resident DJs until the early hours of the morning in the beautiful 6,000 m2 beach front venue. new era, with the opening of OCEAN BEACH CLUB on 28th June 2012

Ibiza, 4th June 2012 (FIX Ibiza).- The island of Ibiza is famed for many things, amongst them its gorgeous beaches and in more recent years, the sophisticated beach clubs scattered along its magical coastlines. Until now, though, some might say that the White Isle's (in)famous town of San Antonio has been somewhat lacking in that particular department, with no exclusive beach club venue to speak of. All that is just about to change however, with the sun-drenched and sandy shores of San Antonio just days away from getting its biggest upgrade to date, with the opening of the Ocean Beach Club on 28th June 2012.

With its 6000m2 venue located along the length of S'Arenal beach, quite simply, this is a coastline location to die for, with the jewel in Ocean Beach Club's crown its 600m2 swimming pool, surrounded by luxury day beds, cabanas and hammocks hidden in the surrounding landscaped gardens. Added to that, two beautiful restaurants, five bars, thirty VIP beds, a sunset terrace, a superb line up of international DJs not to mention an adjacent hotel that complement the club itself and it's pretty clear round these parts that Ocean Beach Club will be the premier place to kick back and relax and/or party with the best of them this summer in San Antonio.

As far as the musical concept of Ocean Beach Club, expect a summer-long line up and hand-picked selection of Ocean Beach Club's resident DJs, local talents and quite a number of international names from the electronic scene throughout the summer. Apart from promoters including Deep Flight, Posh Funk and Pin Up getting involved, a number of other events have also been included in the summer programming, including Urban Ibiza Day&Night, Amsterdance and a very special San Bartolome celebration on 24th August. The venue's own pool parties will also form a big part of the party plans over the course of the next few months.

Where cuisine is concerned, Ocean Beach Club will also offer a dining experience like no other in San Antonio, with its two restaurants nestled in its sprawling grounds, both offering lovingly prepared and mouth-watering menus. Signature restaurant Pearl boasts an avant-garde, elegant and innovative culinary concept in fusion cooking, encompassing a medley of Mediterranean flavours, using local fresh produce and all overseen by Head Chef Leon Breugelmaas.

From morning, noon right through to night, the management of Ocean Beach Club are covering all bases when it comes to catering for the client's every need. Think a day spent relaxing by the Ocean Beach pool, perhaps a massage thrown in and a probable browse in the Ocean Beach Boutique; think a swim and a snooze followed by a cocktail with the amazing Ibiza sunset as a backdrop. As the sun goes down, Ocean Beach's evenings are for getting lively by the pool to the Balearic beats with the nocturnal partying continuing until the early hours in Pearl Restaurant. Guests at the OBC hotel won't have far to go when the party is over and beauty sleep is called for- in fact, all things considered, you may never want to leave…

Turning the wheels and making it all happen are two of the most experienced men in the business. Tony Truman has hosted some of the best parties around the world and has played a major part in the success of leading brands such as Supper Club, Pizza Express and Nando's. Duane Lineker has been working in the family business, the respected entertainment empire of the same name, since the age of 16 and was primarily responsible for the launch and success of the Linekers premises in San Antonio. The duo will deliver an exciting new alternative in tourism to San Antonio Bay with Ocean Beach Club.

"This really is the start of a new era", Truman says, "The opening of Ocean Beach Club will be a proud day for us, we aim to provide a truly magnificent location where our guests can choose to either relax or party, either way enjoying a magical Ibiza experience". Lineker added that, "the aim of the venue is to bring an increased level of hospitality and entertainment to the area," and was "a very exciting step forward".

In a late but exciting twist to the story, the Ocean Beach story gets even bigger and more interesting with the announcement that THB Hotels have also recently come on board as a partner in the Ocean Beach Club, in an agreement that will see adjacent hotel THB Bahia transform into the Ocean Beach Hotel over the coming months.

For right now though, the focus is firmly on the Ocean Beach Club and the opening of its doors for the first time on 28th June 2012, with a star studded event that will be the talking point of San Antonio and the White Isle as a whole, putting the Bay on the map for a whole different set of reasons. The exclusive Opening event, not to mention the rest of the summer, promises a long list of international and resident DJs, live performances, celebrity guests, movers and shakers and party people galore.

Ibiza, 27th June 2012 (FIX Ibiza).- If there is one place on the island of Ibiza that has really has had the rumour mill spinning out of control this season, it would have to be the opening of the Ocean Beach Club in S'Arenal, San Antonio Bay. Speculation has been high since the first announcement of the new, exclusive venue from the people behind the project, with the ‘will it, won't it open' conundrum a key topic of conversation amongst island residents, workers, tourists and the general public over the last months.

To finally put an end to the gossip, we can confirm that yes, Ocean Beach Club is ready to throw open its doors this Thursday 28th June, in a highly anticipated Opening Party, the likes of which is not exactly the norm in San Antonio Bay.

Here is a place that fuses relaxation, gastronomy, exclusivity and entertainment seamlessly, with a location to die for on the shore of S'Arenal, and 6000sq.m to do it in.

And of course, thanks to its stellar location, Ocean Beach Club promises the perfect spot from which to watch the spectacular sunset at the end of what is sure to be a momentous day in the history of San Antonio.

Providing the soundtrack to the Opening proceedings, a carefully selected list of some of most respected names on the island's electronic scene. Stepping up to the plate(s) throughout the course of the twelve hour celebration, Jo Mills, Antz, Tom Novy, Paul Lomax, Ben Santiago, Claudia Lovisa, Lorenzo Al Dino, Marie Claire, Kellie Acreman, Mo Funk and Mr Doris, all playing their part in making this a party to remember. As far as the live elements are concerned, bring on Shovell on percussion and the Fetish Sisters presumably doing what it says on the tin.

As far as special guests on the opening night are concerned, and according to Ocean Beach Club's VIP Manager Lord Johnny Harris, a plethora of household names have already confirmed their attendance at the event with VIP reservations close to overflow, bringing a brand new market of high fliers and celebrity status to San Antonio as the summer progresses.

quite impressed with what they've done. i've always been in love with that location (and the upstairs terrace of the restaurant s'embarcador in particular) but i had my doubts. contrary to other new places that opened in recent years across the island, were i felt so out of place that after one visit i had more than enough and never wanted to go again, in this case they got it right and i see myself speding time there :!:

hopefully this is just the beginning of many positive things to come for san antonio.....
