A night out in Ibiza Town

Hey all,
I will be in Ibiza for my 4th time in under a week and the excitement is crazy! My flight leaves 7 hrs after I put my pen down for my final exam hehehe :D

Got a question for the regulars however. Outside of Bora Bora, Pacha, El Divino & Space, I've never really explored Ibiza Town. This year, I'm going with a few ppl that have never been to the island before and I wanted to show them around and at the same time, experience something I haven't yet. So I am thinking about taking them to the Defected opening on the 12th (that's not new), but I wanted to spend the early night leading up to it in Ibiza Town also. I am thinkin of something like going to have a meal somewhere in like Dalt Vila, then have a couple drinks at Es Vive and Base Bar before heading up to Pacha. I know I know, it's not as adventurous and explorative as what the locals would recommend, but keep in mind I am still a tourist at heart hehe. Just wondering what ppls thoughts were on this and if there's any suggestions or whatnot??

For your meal I would suggest La Torreta for the perfect start. Cracking location in Dalt Vila and always a lovely menu. Tel: 971 300 411.

After that a few drinks here and there in perhaps Bodega at the bottom of the ramp after you leave La Torreta and then take your pick from the choice of bars in the Plaza del Parque just a few mins away.

Also recommended are La Brasa in Ibiza Town (not far from the Plaza del Parque) and La Oliva in Dalt Vila.

We tend to gravitate to the bars down towards the end of the harbor area just because it's nice to sit by the water. K*ube or Base Bar for example. Generally overpriced but a decent place to kick back.

ask for free shots etc as well
a non-name Bar gave us nowt to accompany and mega-round
K-ube gave us 2 rounds of free Hierbas
 
Hierbas... hate the stuff, but is that stuff not like salt on the island hehe. Thanks for all the suggestions! Keep them coming please :D
 
Why don't you hit the bars like K-ube and the Base Bar and then have a meal at Pacha, great food and service (drinks are soooo cheap compared to the club) and then waltz on in! Makes for a great night out.
 
I would have to agree with Morbyd that La Brassa is worth a try. Great food and an even better atmosphere.
 
Angelo's restaurant in Ibiza Town is also lovely and a stunning setting. Also where my other half proposed to me. :oops: :D

Sa Torretta is excellent though.
 
Thank you for all the suggestions. To the person who recommended eating at Pacha, I'm kinda hoping that we won't be having to pay for entrance regardless so eating at Pacha Restaurant is not a necessity. I have wrote down some of the suggestions like La Brassa and Sa Torreta amongst others.
