the little dog in this photo died last friday. well known and loved by all in the village - apart from marli who hated him - there's a moving epitaph to him, and a big thank you to everyone that fed him, on the wall of el destino.
 
That sounds like a great night out to me,is it far from san an bay?? and sorry to hear about the dog,what was wrong with him?? (nothing to do with that foot i hope lol)

its a little treasure of a place

the dog was old.

thanks to the number 9 airport bus service you can get to and from san jose from san antonio and the bay area until mid september.
 
Where on the island is san jose? Trying to find it on the map.

I would love to go there for a nice evening with my missus but I would be worried of a few things...my Spanish sucks and the missus is quite fussy so if we didnt understand the menu she wouldnt order anything. Since it not a touristy place i cantimagine they provide an english menu for the ignorants :(
 
you'll find a menu in english in all the bars/restaurants. in destino tapas bar you only need to point at what you want - great for me as i can never see the menu anywhere without my glasses.

san jose is between san an and ibiza on the left hand road as you look at the map
 
Thanks very much for the fast reply. Is it a nice drive up to it? I dont drink much and we are hiring a car so might be worth doing as part of that

Ahh thanks for the info Stephen...im sure me and the new mrs DaveO will apreciate a quiet day/evening there after all this pre wedding stress.....(**** man,never again)...Anyway,touch down in just over a week...Bye for now...DaveOexhausted ;)
