Hola = hello
buenos dias = good morning, good day
buenas tardes = good afternoon, good evening
buenas noches = good night, (this is used after 10pm)
que tal? = How are you?
de donde eres? = Where are you from
soy ingles/inglesa = i am english (the first one is male and the second one female)
soy escoces/escocesa = i am scottish
gracias= Thank you
Muchas gracias = Thank you very much
por favor = please
si = yes
