Hi everyone ... we are a group of girls from London, and will be heading to Ibiza next week. Really want to see David Guetta play and attend the FMIF party. Whats it like ? I hear it gets very busy in there ? for a group of 6 girls is a good party to go to ? thank you.
 
Wow ... sounds like it is a very busy night .... "Every inch of the dance floor will be covered in writhing bodies" ... I hope you dont get guys trying to take advantage of this situation !
what is the best time to get to the club ? what time does it start getting busy ?
 
For a night like that, you'll want to go early (before 1) lest you be stuck in the queue from hell at the entrance and so as to take up a preferred spot on the dancefloor... preferably near a bar so as to reduce transit times!
 
my friends and i absolutely love Guetta ... and are big FMIF fans ... have never been to the Ibiza parties though. would love to hear all about peoples experiences ?
one concern we have that it may be too packed and difficult to dance and move around. Also in that situation guys may be rubbing themselves up against the girls ... I have heard rumours of this and am wondering if its true.

I wouldn't necessarily say this will only happen in this situation..i just got back from ibiza and noticed that some of the guys were a little forward and pervy to say the least - i don't want to alarm you as this could happen anywhere in any place/club but i certainly noticed that some guys there were quite forward. i dont know whether its because you let your inhibitions go in ibiza or they have a different way of doing things in spain (i dont want to generalise as they could well of been english). You dont have anything to worry about tho, like i said it could happen anywhere, although as a group of 6 girls you will probably attract some attention
 
Getting rubbed up by a bunch of slimeballs would be the least of my worries if I was planning on attending FMIF .. This night is purely aimed at goblin Guetta's self indulgence, and is a rapid growing malignant cyst on Ibiza's left bollock

I'm sick of hearing his humble interviews thanking the fans (yes I'm ripping you off guys thanks v much)
 
hmmm ... ok ... what's the guy to girl ratio like at FMIF .... it shouldnt be too bad if there is a good ratio. Last thing I want is my girlfriends and I to be in the middle of a sausage fest !!! :x
 
I think just about everywhere in Ibiza is many more guys than girls every time Ive been... I would imagine Hed Kandi might be different though but check out the youtube vids

Its gonna be rammed but at least if you get assaulted it will take the focus away from the music :twisted:

Stand against a wall is my best advice but I've only ever been groped to the point of being illegally violated twice in Ibiza, once by a female bouncer and once by a scatty Spanish girl so you may be safer than you think!

probably most girls at this party (hedkandi many girls, too) -
because many girls love guetta´s cheesefestmusic

but if you go voluntarily to fmif in high season
you must be a perv, a sadomasochist or on a suicidecommando ;)

good to hear that there will be a decent mix. My girlfriends and I have been to some parties last year, which were just full of guys and we got hassled all night long. Couldnt really relax and party, hence my question about this.

Why do you say that we must be pervs, sadomasochist, or suicidecommando ?
 
haha i think its because some people think that David Gutbags makes awful music.

So to subject yourself to it would be sadomasochist.
The club is so full you would have to be a SuicideCommando to go.
There are guys there and most of us are pervs :)

main problem is that everybody wants to go there in july and august.
it gets so ridiculous overcrowded, that it´s - depending where you get stuck -
no fun anymore.
add some italians doing the elbow-shuffle and not moving a ****ing mm
to defend "their" place it can get a nightmare.
if you found a place on the dancefloor it takes you (like) half an hour to move
to the rooftop terrace and when you get there it´s the 8th world wonder if you
find a place to rest for a second.
and if you think the masses are thinning out a little bit like at 4 or 5 in the morning,
then forget it, because it stays full til the end ;)

but nevertheless atmosphere can be amazing sometimes and when you are lucky
and someone can put you on somemone´s guestlist - so that you don´t have to
pay doorprices like 60/70/or wtfever . then it´s bearable :)

i'm sure you guys will have a great time if you go... i'd have no problems recommending the night from a fun standpoint. Yes it will be very busy but at least you know that ahead of time....
