Good god ! Good luck to her !

How old is TOO OLD ?

Believe it or not, at 27, I was considered an OLD MUM back in the day .... and most of Hannah and Hollie's friend's parents are a lot younger than me !

I think it's totally wrong :? How the hell can a 66 year old woman be able to cope with a young baby? Secondly, how can an 80 year old woman cope with the demands of a teenager? (If she's still alive  )

IMO your body stops being able to make a baby for a reason, you shouldn't change nature. My mum had me at 33 and my brother at 39, so she was a very "old" mum by normal standards. I don't think I could cope if by the age of 14 my mum was 80

totally agree.
I think it's very unfair on the child.
When the baby is 9/10 and wanting interaction from her parents in the normal way, the woman simply won't be healthy enough to cope with the demands (if she is alive by then).

I agree with you all, in the news they said that there's no limit age for artificial insemination altho in Spain you won't get artifitial insemination if you are menopause ¿?

Saffy, spanish average age for first kid is 31 in girls

Isn't the risk of having a child with cerebral palsy much higher in older women?

not sure about cerebral palsy but the chances of the child having downs syndrome is increased greatly and i guess other things aswell

The kid will probably be far more loved that most of the chav generation that are being breeded throughout the UK.

EDIT: Just read the story, didn't realise there was fertitlity treatment involved. I presumed (wrongly) it was natural.
