60th birthday - any ideas?

I'm bringing my mum for a long weekend around 14th July 2011; any good ideas for things i could do with her around that time?

Wish I'd taken my mum to Ibiza for her 60th ! One of the nicest things I think you could do for her would be to try to book this for a special meal :

I would start off the day by having a delightful meal at Restaurante S'Ametller in Ibiza Town.

I would certainly consider watching the sunset at Calla Compte. It's a little more peaceful without so many idiots around.

For a day at the beach I would consider Calla Bassa. They have really nice cocktails on the beach so it could make for a nice day time activity.

And in the evening you could go to one of the many beautiful sea side restaurants with live music.

If your mum is interested in having more of a sight seeing holiday then Formentera, Ibiza town are great sites for that.

If none of that works, take her to DC-10 and dance your asses off.
