528

Brunch electronic was good yesterday, but sonja moonear did a b2b with shonky and it defo wasn’t her normal sound which I was looking forward to! Still, really enjoyed

Enjoyed Pikes @ 528. Busier and better than I was expecting. Only shame was Paul Woodford ended up playing 2-4 in the club for some reason rather than the garden and I left about 1:30 for an early flight. Layo & Bushwacka good fun

How do you get back to SanAn from the club? Are there enough taxis? Are there buses?

I understand the parking lot is small, so I guess better not drive there yourself?

depends when you leave. If you leave as outdoor shuts with the majority of people, it can be a wait for taxis. It's not a very attractive proposition for the taxi drivers: long wait times in line and then most fares only travelling back to San Antonio. So it isn't a constant stream like you get outside Amnesia or Pacha

There hasn't routinely been a bus service back to San An this summer, however last time I was there for Harvey there was, but not free. I think it was advertised at €7 per person. Maybe somebody who went to Layo & Bushwacka can confirm if this was the case again last night

I left just before 1am , probably 5 ‘groups’ in front of me - waited about 10minutes. There was a coach hanging around but didn’t really see anyone getting on it or any direction ?

The inside was busy, definitely felt like most were moving indoors for a bit - especially as it was quite a short outside event really. Didn’t get busy until 8 ish

What about their car park? Some websites say it is first come first serve, some websites say it needs reservations. If I come at the very beginning of an event, will I have a chance to get a parking spot? That would be for SHINE Ibiza on Sept 25.

Generally they discourage driving as it upsets the residents. They normally ask for your reg and turn you away if it isn't down.

An alternative would be to park at the bottom of the hill in the public car park and walk five minutes up the road. Shouldn't be too much of a strain at the end of September

Yeah both times we left the car park was practically empty, but as mentioned above probs best to use public parking down the road.

Both times we waited about 5-10 mins for a taxi but didn't wait until end to leave.

There was a bus there to San an, but we was pdb so no idea how frequently it ran.

We were there too. Fantastic night. We only got there about 8:30 so thought we’d maybe missed Paul Woolford. Bailed around 1 as we had been up since 4am travelling. But you’re spot on, it was a lot of fun. Top crowd and vibe.

Drove for the Groove Armada event and we just went straight in and directed to parking. No checks or anything

I wasn't expecting to write this today, but I've gotta say Basement Jaxx were really, really good last night and the atmosphere was electric.

Struggling to think of a party that has had a bigger impact than Pikes Presents this summer.
Cant wait to get back there myself. Hoping something pops up from 29th sept to the 7th

They are WELL able to play when the want.. I have heard them drop opera to techno when DJing, and wow.. Went to 528 twice last week, and its just the party for me this summer. After an amazing set heard at Las Dalis from Words of Niō last Sunday week..

It was an eclectic set for sure!! Pikes Presents has been LOTS of fun this season.
Yesterday seemed to have a much younger crowd (well, where I was dancing it was) and some a bit over-f***ed but it is what it is. We still had loads of fun.

Back at 528 for Cocoon next week!

Might have been the BJaxx pulling power.. Well known for all ages.. Glad you enjoyed! :)

Only visited once on 21st Saturday for Manumission Closing, but loved the mixture of outdoor / indoor setting. I was very surprised by drinks prices whern I was handed back change for water :) Really epic location, can't wait to visit again!
