2013 closing parties

The Loco Dice CD is class. Defected isn't normally my cup of tea but to be fair it sounds nothing like Defected anyway.

I always associate Defected with vocal house as some one mentioned earlier but with people like Nick Curly and Eats Everything playing at their parties it seems they are branching out.

Defected started changing a few years back really. Back when they first started Pacha on Tuesday / Saturday they were pure vocal house, and now they are on the whole much deeper. Personally I prefer it when they stick to solid good house music, sometimes they go a little too far. My favourite defected album is the Kevin Saunderson one.
 
4th time this year - but getting f***ing excited ...

i have a couple of questions about sankeys closing party...
apparently there is a 'passout', does this apply to the tickets purchased for 30euro?
would be great if it did, as i don't fancy staying in sankeys 24 hours straight.

also, i noticed on spotlight tickets it says 'entry before 1am', but on resident advisor tickets there is no time limit for entry, even though both tickets cost the same and had been purchased on the same day... how come??? is it set in stone the time for spotlight tickets?

too excited about next week.... been working like a blood hound all summer.... ready for the release and gran finale

theoretically this might be possible - but too much stress ... probably only find parking 10 miles away from privi when arriving too late .
do you remember what time privi-closing ended last year ?

so probably only privi on friday -
then no dc10 on monday but lio-closing ;)

yeah the parking thing might be a problem. why don't you take a taxi instead? comfier anyway. they closed around noontime last year. i guess the vista club will go until noon again this year.

yeah i'm actually surprised lio closes so early this year.

maybe "closing" doesn´t mean wintersleep the next day. last year quite a lot of beachbars and other places stayed open after their offical "closing"party !?

hmm, not sure. i do think that's it for lio this year then.

According to sankeys Facebook it says

''ALL tickets include one re entry. Tickets 50 euro or 30 before 1am / after midday. Online tickets 40.''

I think you'll be cool with that.
 
kind of frustrating, I would have just bought the 50 euro or 40 euro tickets if I had known they are strictly before 1am (in fact, I bought my ticket through resident advisor because it didn't state this).

Im going to give it a bash after 1am and maybe I will have to pay a bit more.

So looks like Circo Loco closing tickets are sold out on RA. Bit of a downer as only half our group managed to pick them up in time.

Does anyone know what the chances are of sorting tickets once we're on the island (arriving Friday), or does sold out on RA mean they're already at capacity..?
 
don't worry, RA's allotment being sold out doesn't mean it's sold out generally. you'll get them on the island in a few bars as well as at the door. just go early enough - it's nicest anyway mid-afternoon when it's not too busy yet.
