Helped my FF team, so all's good.

However, I doubt he'll still be at Spurs once the transfer window re-opens.

well at least we know he wont go to everton

the lure of chumpionship footy might be too great tho.

still think he should start ahead of Defoe.

one game lost out of 8 (obligatory defeat to Chelsea), and 4pts up from corresponding fixtures from last year. whilst playing nowhere near as well as then. 8)

We'll beat Chelsea again this season. ;)

I just wish someone would, it's just getting so dull.

If David James played like he did against Chelsea last year (to be honest, I think it was an imposter... couldn't possibly have been Calamity James) then anything is possible.

Nevertheless, I don't find it dull at all. The game against Liverpool this weekend was quite exciting :D

"Calamity James" yawn, yawn, yawn. ;)

He's been excellent for us since he signed -I wouldn't want anyone else. If The Sun and all the tabloids have it in for him and as a result mean he'll never play for England again then fine, at least it means we'll get to keep him rather than him shipping off to Chelsea like all the other hyped players do.

And he's really fit :D

I actually agree with you. The tabloids have made James out to be a much worse goalkeeper than he actually is. I hate that media pack mentality where the create pressure on a player who, in reality, does a decent job. On the whole, James isn't bad, though he does occasionally make some frighteningly bad mistakes (usually when playing for England, not ManCity).

I think the same can be said of Sven, whose record for England on the whole is quite good but the press are always all over him (There's a bit of nationalism mixed in there as well, to be honest) and it's created this nationwide hostility towards him.
