but what hotel/apartments would you recommend, which are fairly layed back so you can chill during the day good pool facility's and so on..

4 of us going on a lads holiday

Your best bet would be San An Bay.

Just out of the way but close enough!

Take a look at Blue Star, Playa Bella, Rosamar, Riveira.

Hotel Abrat can be chilled during the day, has a decent pool and gardens. Good location for the sunset bars too.

If you want something properly out the way and chilled but within reach of San An centre you could try the Hotel Galfi.

Blau Park Hotel in San An is chilled, but expensive.
