Hi everyone, I've decided while i'm still young enough to fulfil something I should have done a long time ago... I'm coming to Ibiza!

In staying in San Antonio for 8 days from the middle of this week. I've spent hours lurking around the forums and searching endless reports on what to do, where to go etc...

But the one thing I would like to know is... Any tips for a single guy who's going out to have some fun and relaxation? I'm going for the beach but also the nights out. Most probably go to SPACE as im seeing a mate in Playa Den Bossa on thursday.

Im excited to be going but as you can imagine a little anxious as to what to expect. So any information/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Well thats about it...just got 1 more work day, pack my stuff up and fly on over.

Thanks in advance.

I went out on my own In May 2006 and had a great time. At night you'll never be on your own. If your in a large hotel with a pool people will soon spot you on your own and make you feel welcome. If you get the chance hire a car and have a trip round all the beaches. I think the best beach in San An is Es Pouet. Just near Hotel Hawai. Have a great time.

there is a fookin massive er...massive...from here in Ibiza now & for the next couple of weeks

If your in space on sunday look out for me (gingerish hair, tshirt with a Carp fish thing on the back on the terrace I reckon)...

also seems to be loads meeting up for someones birthday. i'd tap up Sue from the pink panther (you'll find her on loads of posts here) she seems to be a social fulcrum for the 'lets meet in gang', she will point you in the right direction!

dont stress you will be fine, just go with the flow & you will have a gaggle of you soon enough.

Im mainly into Trance (Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto etc....) but I've also been to a few of Carl Cox's nights at Godskitchen in Birmingham in the past... But mainly into Trance.

So any pointers on where to go on that one? :)

I've no doubt I will have a top time and more than likely I will be visiting SPACE on sunday as that's one of my main aims is to visit there. I too have a carrot top hairdo and more than likely will be wearing my BEER MONSTER t-shirt! So look out for that one.. 8O

Well only a few hours till I jet on out!

Thanks for the replies everyone.

I've been on my own to ibiza a couple of times, and always had a blast!

always easy to meet people and then you can ditch them when you don't need them anymore! ;)

Have fun!

I went on my own once and it has been one of the best time I had on the island!
In the end some people I knew happened to be there at the same time as me but I had the choice to catch up with them if I wanted to.

I loved the fact that I could do what I wanted to do and at any time I felt without any sort of pressure especially when it came to go round and explore the island for what else it can offer apart from the clubbing which is definitely something everyone should do.

Obviously when you are out clubbing it's always nice to share the experience with your friends but I find that in Ibiza you never really feel alone and get into it as soon as you walk in the club.

Good luck with your experience, just look after yourself and I'm sure you won't regret it!
