Wonderland returns for the last in 2009’s epic adventures, the past year has seen some of the biggest names in the industry take to the decks offering the best in today’s electronic music. Now on Saturday 12th December at Ministry of Sound, Pete Tong completes his year of heroic party throwing with Timo Maas, Livio & Roby, Krysko and Rob Marmot.
DJ’s often come and go, however one man that has surfaced the industry for the last 27 years and is still going strong, TImo Maas will be joining Tong in the Box this weekend. Strongly recognised for his eclectic style, he has shaped the institution of house music with his rare ability to breach boundaries and appeal to even the closed minded. With productions on tap over the last year, Maas has staged himself at some of the biggest clubs in the world including playing at the infamous Cocoon residency at Amnesia, Ibiza. Saturday night will see him engage into a ride of beats from deep, dark sounds to more upbeat tech house, keeping the crowd on their toes until the sun comes up.
The bar gets a brash awakening from two talents making their Ministry of Sound debut. First up, Krysko a name that is becoming more and more familiar in today’s scene, having spent the last year as resident at Manchester’s; Warehouse Project playing alongside Adam Beyer, Claude Von Stroke, Seth Troxler and many more, makes his second appearance at the club this year with a case full of today’s most prolific tunes. Our second welcoming comes in the shape of double act Livio & Roby, the Romanian duo have seen rising success the last year storm-clouding dance floors with their driven beats, drunk with heavy snyths and weighty bass. Joining them, Rob Marmot is back for another performance of tech house and just generally doing what he does best.
