London club giants Turnmills are bringing their legendary weekly party – The Gallery, to Leeds to launch an exclusive new monthly residency at Mission, in association with Protocol. Earlier this year The Gallery celebrated 10 Years of clubland. No other club in the country can lay claim to putting on parties of its size and quality every Friday night for such a long period of time. The Gallery also scooped an Award for being ‘London’s Best Club’ at the Mixmag Awards 2004/5, again underlining that despite a veteran on the club scene, this famous Turnmills event still remains the very cutting edge of dance music.
Famed for its progression of dancefloor sounds, culminating with the big trance finale, The Gallery lines up two of its favourite new talents – Riley & Durrant and Adam Sheridan, alongside our own hotly-tipped resident Gavyn Mytchel in Arches 2&3. Galaxy FM stars Riley & Durrant have taken clubland by storm in recent years with a Gatecrasher residency amongst the many golden stars on their Djing CV. Adam Sheridan is similarly a star in the making and a resident at Goodgreef. Gavyn meanwhile, hosts The Gallery Show on Ministry of Sound Radio and is signed to Armin Van Buuren’s Armada Music label and Tall Paul’s Duty Free Records imprint. Arch 1 meanwhile, takes on a more underground tech-house vibe with heavy-duty production bods Futureshock taking centre stage. There’s also electronic bleeps from Sasha’s fave Paolo Mojo, and a touch of acid-funk from Mixmag Future Hero, Ministry of Sound Radio host and new monthly resident Anil Chawla.
