Sankeys Ibiza 2014

DUKE DUMONT ANNOUNCES NEW SANKEYS IBIZA RESIDENCY

DUKE DUMONT presents BLASE BOYS CLUB

Chart topping number one artist Duke Dumont
announced as Sankeys Ibiza Exclusive resident

As if all the news of weekly residencies from Tribal Sessions, VIVA Warriors, Amine Edge & DANCE’s CUFF label, Fuse, Flying Circus & Magna Carta wasn’t enough, Sankeys can now unveil even more great news for their summer schedule….

The unstoppable force that is Duke Dumont is to play 8 exclusive shows on Mondays under the title DUKE DUMONT presents BLASE BOYS CLUB,
This fantastic residency starts on June 30th and it runs to September 1st as outlined below alongside some selected friends he will choose to play alongside. Duke Dumont has a long and fruitful relationship with Sankeys that dates back to 2007. Every time he plays the crowds are packed in tight and just last year the man played two sell out shows at Sankeys Ibiza, so his return is hotly anticipated.

In 2013 Dumont topped the UK charts on his newly minted Blasé Boys Club label, with the now Grammy nominated ‘Need U (100%)’ featuring A*M*E* on singing duties and co-written by teenage wonder-kid MNEK. Then, earlier this year in March, he scored his second number one hit in the space of a year with the Jax Jones-assisted track ‘I Got U’. It’s a summery, anthemic and feel good affair that will sound perfect in Sankeys Ibiza.

The most played song on Radio 1 / 1Xtra in the UK, #1 on Billboard's National Club Chart, his previous number one had Duke performing at over 200 live shows around the world and the official video has now surpassed 17 million views on YouTube. In 2014 he is continuing to rise to ever-higher heights and is a welcome addition to the weekly outlook at Sankeys Ibiza this summer.

IM really annoyed that Dirty Bird has not been back for the 2014 season, i would have right enojyes that!
But with there being a Snakeys in London now hopefully they will put a Dirty Bird night on there

dont be too sure about that...

At the moment the Sankeys London is just a monthly club night, as opposed to a permanent venue. I imagine they will gauge the potential for a permanent home off the success (or lack of) these nights after a year or so.

They've already taken on board the criticism levelled at them from their opening event, which is promising. I think this up-coming Easter date will be indicative of how their long-term future will pan out.

Very excited by some of these names playing sankeys (faki, rodhad, Joel mull etc)

Im out there for 24th sept. Can anyone tell me what to expect from the line up that ngt? I know all about Syrossian and im a big fan of his but how about the rest of the line up? alan fitzpatrick, francois k, terry francis, holly lester and shlomi aber. Im fairly new on this scene so I would be interested to here peoples thoughts.

Alan Fitzpatrick - drumcode techno in sankeys, youre on to a winner there.
Not one to comment properly on the rest but expect quality music from terry Francis who will be able to play anywhere and fit in

there for the 18th June - not the biggest of lineups name-wise but can't wait nevertheless! Big fan of Syrossian and Hector Couto!
