as mentioned in another thread, since late december theres an interesting new bar in siesta (santa eulalia) called zen lounge. at the moment its open thursday to sunday with this line-up:

THU elea
FRI live music
SAT resident dj (lorna soul)
SUN guest djs (joan ribas, igor marijuan, jose maria ramon, etc)

Went there a few weeks ago. I must admit Siesta is one of the last places I'd expect to find a style bar. To my surprise I was well impressed. The decor's good in that sort of Ibizan funky Buddha sort of way. The staff are friendly. The drinks are relatively cheap. And the DJ was impressive, managing to combine electronica, chilled hous and obscure 1950s rock 'n' roll.

I still don't understand what made them put it in Siesta unless, it's the proximity of that new five-star hotel... (In which case in future you'll probably have to ignore my remark about cheap drinks.)
