Haven't been but I'm planning on it as my reward following my climb of Mt Kilimanjaro (whenever I get around to it ) so you must report back if you go...

by all accounts, stunning beaches, marine wildlife climate etc.

its an island off tanzania, n/e africa.

going to be staying here http://www.pongwe.com/

for part of it, then somewhere like here

for a few days.

Then back to somewhere like pongwe again to finish off. Only like 14 months to wait (albeit with goa in between 8)).
