haha aye, but for me its usually.....oh im feeling great this morning....drive to work etc....then realise two hours later that you were still totally smashed and cant actually remember getting to work...THEN the hangover kicks in 
im off the drink until ibiza anyways....i want to be fresh!

solask, I know exactly what you mean. Especially when you eat something greasy and plop on the couch directly afterwards... its like a sleeping pill!!
Lately I have been doing this wierd thing where I fly out of bed on weekends at like 9AM (no matter WHAT time I stayed up till the night before), go on a crazy apt. cleaning spree, and then slip in to a coma. I think I need to be examined......

uh yeah id say so! although lately when ive been waking up after a mad night out, ive been getting up about 6 or 7 am, pottering about the house for a few hours, maybe read the papers, have a smoke, then thats me spoontangled until late evening when its too late to do anything...
driving to work is scary, its best avoided, especially when you try and think back about the journey and cant remember. think how much worse it would be if you were stopped or heaven forbid hit someone?
for the record, pollen is my favourite hangover cure

my scariest was a couple of month ago....after a very very heavy and intoxicated night in newcastle...in work at 8am the next day, i was trying to get in my car to drive but could barely stand up....we had to ring someone to come and drive me....

Hell yeah about the driving to work. PLUS if you get pulled over, you'll probably still blow a way illegal blood alcohol level!!

im not a fan of phoning in sick, but i think if i was so drunk that id have to get someone to come and drive me to work, i think that merits being "unfit for work"
f*** getting nicked, name in papers, shame on family etc. etc. my lifes complicated enough without shit like that to deal with.
