wots the prices of food and drink like???

you could have titled your thread 'how long is a piece of string like?'

the price of food and drink will vary with where you are and what you eat and drink.
there is almost every conceivable type of food available in san an from fast to oriental to native. i would say that you'll probably find it cheaper to eat out than in your own country. as for drinks i think the same would be true and you'll also find lots of 'special offers' on large amounts of booze around the west end area.

any help?

Food in the supermarkets is much cheaper than back home, and if you're on a budget then you should buy some booze there too. The restaurants are much cheaper for the same quality back home too. One of my favourites, the Casa China (down a back street just off the fountains in San An) is very cheap and serves good, simple oriental food. For something a bit more upmarket you could try Rias Baixas or Es Ventall which are much cheaper than the equivelant you'd pay for back home.

You can get quite cheap breakfasts in most places.. in PDB anyway , so I'm assuming san antonio even more so... I never went out for expensive meals... lots of cheap(ish) restuarants all over the place

the spanish diet and cuisine is based around high fibre foods. fresh fruit, veg, pulses by the score. for a fascinating insight into this and local social life at the same time hit ibiza's new market in the centre of town. there you'll find fish. meat (i reckon spanish meat is the best in europe), oils from all over spain (olive oil like you've never had in your life), herbs spices, breads (with lots of grain), a mountain of fresh, locally grown fruit and veg, cakes and pretty well everything else you could think of. allow plenty of time for shopping here.
for a more familiar shopping experience, go to the hiper centro on the main road to san antonio, (quite near to pdv), you might even find a hershey bar there.
