Worried about staying in PDB

Hello fellow members :)

although I'm a new member in your forums I have been following your topics for quite a while, I have a got question though relating to what I have seen in some threads about Ibiza town and PDB I'm gonna be in the island for the first 10 days of July I'm thinking of booking an apartment through the site in the jet apartments complex however I'm a bit worried from some of the comments that PDB and Ibiza town only have 20+ visitors and not a lot of English speakers, I'm 18 years old from Cairo and I'm going with one of my mates it would of course better to get to meet new people in ibiza to party with at our age preferably I'm having doubt booking a hotel in PDB or Ibiza and thinking that San Antonio would be a better place transportation won't be an issue we will have a car with a driver we are interested like anybody else I presume in beaches and sightseeing at morning and clubbing at night so what would your advice be>

Thank you for reading.

You'll still have fun and meet people around your age in PDB. Plenty of English speakers too.

Only things San An has over PDB (in my opinion) is sunsets, Ibiza Rocks (if there's a band on you want to see) and the west end (if you just like to go out and get drunk in cheap bars like you would in Magaluf).

PDB for day clubbing (at Bora Bora), close proximity to some great clubs and also Ibiza Town.

We're doing PDB for the first time this year. San An is great, but we just end up spending a fortune on taxis, considering we only really go to Space, Amnesia, DC10. Even with the pain of the bus to BoraBora, it just feels like complete effort. So hoping PDB will be fine, can save a bit of cash, but still make a trip or 2 to San An.

lots of people speak english in pdb. don;t worry about that.very much a cosmopolitan resort now.so your gonna meet people from all over the world.as you have a car its a great basecamp.as nothing is 25 mins away from you.jet apts are right in the thick of things.handy shops etc.bit noisey.depending on which room you get.great complex with all you need init.you can walk it to ibiza town.quicker to get to formentera as well.don;t leave it too long to book as jet is very popular.2 buses away from san an.less than one hour if that if you time it right.plus there is the disco bus service later at night.near airport so you will see planes coiming in to land or take off.great to see them coming in over ibizatown then getting lower right over your head.nice long beach to stroll along.hire your car from airport to airport if you have not done so allready.
if not its 10 to 11 euro;s in a taxi.bus 14 will take you into ibizatown from there you can go anywhere you wish.some places you will have to jump on another bus.but asked first if stuck.july is a busy time and its very hot.any more info you might need let me know.

Thank you a lot of the replies new information really great to benefit from your experience I'm kinda of more comfortable about PDB now jet complex it is!

First few times I thought San An was great (mainly for the sunsets!), but, yeah, now I find the balance of staying in PDB with 1 or 2 trips across to san An (if I have the energy ) a better balance. San An has also felt progressively scarier - people who look really wrecked (8O), a guy who's just headbutted someone walking around with blood pouring from his head and the only place someone's made a pickpocketing attempt on me.

Not sure how long you have been going to San An. but I first went on 05' and Id heard it could be a haven for trouble, thankfully I didnt encounter any such as the above, what i will say is though, the Polica dont suffer fools gladly!!
