World map for all you travelers

A friend passed along this midly entertaining little link today... lets you easily create a world map that shows everywhere you've been and tells you the percentage of the world's countries you've visited.

Kind of fun (for a geography geek like me :lol:)

you're right Emma, it is very facebook-esque!

I just feel like I've visited so little when I look at that map of mine, even though I've been to a fair number of countries

Exactly... but at least you have russia on there so when you look at your map it covers up a lot of it.. as long as one has been to Canada, russia, china , australia, the map looks pretty full! :lol:
 
True... thanks to Canada, Alaska, about 35 states, various parts of Europe and Russia, my map stretches across the whole northern hemisphere :lol:

Southern hemisphere looks pretty empty though :cry:

dublin is as good as any city break in europe IMO (defo if it's not really like a home).

west ireland would be a stunning mini break (to really chill out) and you can fly there easily enough these days too.
