I know this is abit of a random thing to post on here but i cant seem to find anything on the net about it.
Basically im 25 and live with my girlfriend in her flat, although not offically( my letters etc still get sent to my mums). I am now entitled to working tax credits with being over 25 and not earning much last year. I have applied for it and have started getting payments last week. In my application form i usery d my mums address.
Now my parents are worried this mite effect their tax credits as as far as their concerned im not living there.
In my form it didnt say anything about anybody else in the house who mite be claiming tax credits, only how much i earned last year and how many hours I work.
Does anybody on here know where i stand on this? Will it effect my parents tax credits? can I still keep getting it?
