Our company is soon to move to Windows XP from the NT Operating system - yes, we are lagging a bit behind to say the least !

Just wondered if anyone has any good books that will help me get my head round the new system.

I'll be supporting the PCs from next Xmas 8O so I will need a book that will range right from the basics up to registry tweaks, networking, active directory, creation of Ids, shared areas etc.

Cheers

ooft. i think XP does a lot of the work for you, not that Ive done it but apparently setting up networks is very easy and a mile away from NT4. I used to set up networks on NT4 and it was mindboggling (and took ages if things werent right to fix problems).

You might be able to pick up some MCSE stuff on Ebay, or study guides for it (or similar, I dunno, its been a while since I was into PC Techie stuff)
