Which club night to do?

Cocoon, Music On or Ants. Which is best?

Finally returning back to the white isle after 2-3 years away, and I cant wait! :D:D:D From Thu 7th Sept to Tue 12th Sept.

I'll be doing Cream, Captured Festival and Driftwood etc but I need my techno fix while over there too...

I'm undecided between 3 club nights, Cocoon, Music on or Ants? What would your recommendation be?

for me it totally depends upon what type of music you like, as all three events are totally different.

what artists do you like? it's quite hard to comment at this stage, as the other events you are attending are the complete opposite end of spectrum from any of the others that you mention above.
 
I like most techno and tech house.

Tbh most events I do now are techno, but still a massive trance fan at heart. Done Time Warp recently...wow! I'm a big fan of the likes of Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Plex, Pan-Pot, Tales of us, Len Faki, Joseph Capriati and Joris Voorn but the list goes on

Sven Vath was quality the both times I have seen him. I haven't seen Carola before though.

Not a fan of Jamie Jones style and those sort of pretentious house/techno djs, if there is even such thing haha thats what I categorise it as though...

based upon your feedback (and my slight bias) I would recommend cocoon.

if you've enjoyed Sven before then I assure you he's 'all night long' set in the main room will be right up your street. dark techno similar to some names as mentioned above. you've also got Ricardo Villalobos on the terrace - if you've never seen him before, I would recommend giving him a try too.

if your not a fan of pretentious DJ's then steer clear of music on. as much as it has some good points, IMO it is the single most pretentious party on the island.

ants is simply very generic tech house , unlike any names you've mentioned above.

the choice is simple - choose cocoon :D

Cocoon it is, thanks mate. Yeah it would be good to see Villalobos although I have had mixed reports about him...
 
I'm also a trance head but enjoy house and techno. Cacoon for me purely off what I've heard people say about it. Never been Music on but every video I've seen on it looked horrendous. Everyone just bobbing like zombies with the same generic beat constantly.
 
Has WooMoon even announced plans for Ibiza this year? Cova Santa was a good fit for them last year, wondering if they're doing it again this year?
