Hello All.

Were you in Ibiza in 2002? or Euro 2004?

Can you remember where you watched the Football? Esp England!

I'll be in Ibiza for the quarter finals and would like some thoughts on where to watch the games? Which bars will have the best atmoshere? And where to avoid!!

Cheers,

Karl.

We've always watched football in Big Bens in PDB, it's a decent size and you don't seem to get that many tw@ts in there.
I think you've mentioned this before... where is it?

We watched Euro04 in a place on the street where Somny is. Atmosphere was fine but drinks were crap (though free shots when England scored)

Imagine you're walking thru PDB (towards Figuretes) down the main road where all the tourist shops are, it's on the left hand side where the road is split in 2 (near some fastfood establishment - Burger King or Macdonalds can't remember which). Lol @ my **** directions :?  It's a typical BA place but it's decent size and you can normally get table.

I know the one you mean where Sommy is, I've been dragged there to watch Chelsea games, it's a right hole isn't it and smells of a greasy spoon caf

Ah, no, not the greasy cafe place (if it's the one I'm thinking of)... they show games too, and more regularly, but I've never watched there. I mean the bar on the right side just after you turn onto the Somny street from the main road. (lol at my directions too ).

They don't serve food just drinks and it's all kind of outdoors.. they don't show games regularly just for Euro04. It was a great atmosphere but they were closed last summer so I doubt it'll be an option this year.

I think I remember Big Bens now... is that the place with the little Internet kiosk? (realizing there's more to the place than that... it's just the only time I stopped in there was to use it )

I'm completely confused now

I've never seen internet in Big Bens before :? but then I never use the internet on hols so I probably wouldn't take any notice of it if they did

Shall we just give up on this converation now  You won't miss it anyway if you're looking for it.

Big bens

If you look for the KFC's on the main street it is right across from it and hotel fiesta algarb.

It's best to watch it where there is a tv or it can get boring - I watched it in Popeyes in Es Cana when some Polack was sat at the front cuddling a whole half of lager for the the whole 3-0 stuffing - loved it!
