Hello!
First and foremost... I wanted to say thank you to all of the regular posters. I've been reading this forum ever since my first trip to Ibiza in 2002, but never had the need to post until now.
I apologize for the question, as I'm sure its pretty common, but I'm looking for some expert opinions here.
As mentioned above, I've been to Ibiza before for 4 days when I was backpacking Europe. Of course, you can't get enough of this island, so I am making a return trip.
I'm bringing along a friend who will be enjoying Ibiza for her first time. We'll be arriving on the island the evening of July 17th, and departing on the evening of July 23.
We have our plane tickets booked, and we're rarin' to go... the only thing missing from our vacation equation is the hotel or apartment.
The last time I was in Ibiza, I stayed in San Antonio on the cheap... I liked San Antonio, and spent every sunset on the sunset strip, which was nice and convenient. Consequently though, I spent hardly any time at all in Ibizatown, except when clubbing to Pacha.
I am trying to make this trip as nice as possible, and am prepared to spend around ~100 euros per night for a hotel room or apartment. Does anyone have suggestions for a hotel/apartment in this price range in Ibizatown?
We're both youngin's, I'm 21 and my friend will be 20 (she actually turns 20 the day we arrive in Ibiza). We don't necessarily want a "party" hotel, but wouldn't be turned off by it, but we definitely don't want to stay somewhere with families, etc. If there's a balcony/patio or a view, these of course are a plus.
I haven't ruled out staying in San Antonio, the SA Bay or Playa D'en Bossa... so these suggestions are welcome too.
I'm willing to up the price on the hotel/apartment to ~150 euros per night if the place really deserves it... I know (from experience!) that we won't be spending much time in the hotel itself, but it would be nice to be comfortable when we need it.
So... experts! I'm open to suggestions obviously! Any other island going advice is welcome too... thank you very much in advance!!
