Where to spend the nights?

Hi Partyfolks,

We're going to Ibiza in September but can't decide where tot stay... (San Antonio, San Rafael, Ibiza City, ...?)

We love electro, minimal, tech-house etc. so it is very obvious that we're going to check out "Cocoon". Now, we are searching for other clubs or bars that play the same quality music (Style: Richie Hawtin, Magda, Gaiser, Matthew Dear, ...)

Can anyone help us? It would be stupid to find an hotel near "Cocoon" while the others great bars are in San Antonio or Ibiza City as we're not going to "Cocoon" everyday...

There is a 24 hour bus service and the island is less than 40km across so it makes little difference whether you stay in San An, Ibiza, Figueretas or Playa d'en Bossa and you could even get away with staying outside one of the main party centres, at least in terms of accessability to the clubs. Depends what else you want from where you are staying.
 
Personally I'd recommend staying in or near Ibiza Town. It's alot nicer. Talamanca is a good base. Club wise as you say Cocoon is a must. DC10 on a Monday for Circo Loco of course and also a Wednesday night for Superfreq. Monza on Thursays at Privilege is another I recommend.

had thought about talamanca for our next trip but i read somewhere that it literally stinks, is that true?
