Hello, i want to rent a boat for my next vacation. Have you got some good reverences oder hints for me? Is there a really trusable offer in the internet? :D

I had the fortunate opportunity to have 4 hrs with these in August (thanks again kimajy) and can assure you it was one of my best Ibiza experiences to date

That was a really great trip :).... although I'm still trying to work out how I ever managed to return the car and make my plane straight afterwards. Atlantis was a heck of a lot easier to reach from the sea ;).

Would definitely second this recommendation - went out with Mamboats 4 times this Summer and on every occasions was fantastic. Didn't bother looking anywhere else for boat charters after the first trip.

hey, thanks for the reply... i was thinking of something like a yacht to rent

There is a company renting out motoryachts on the link Stephen posted above. Do you mean a non-motorized sailing yacht ? Crewed or bareboat ? How many people ? For a week or just a day ? Some further info on your needs would likely help people steer you in the most appropriate direction.

we are not sure which boat cause we have no license. we are 6 people and we need the boat for 4-5 days

You will need a crewed charter with minimum a skipper (likely 2 crew if it's a live on-board charter). A bareboat motoryacht charter for a boat capable of taking your group would definitely require one of you to have an appropriate licence.

Do you intend to live on-board or just take the boat out in the daytime and stay on land overnight ? If you want to go cruising, anchor overnight and live on board for the whole period then you may find it a little harder, as most yacht charters that are not daylight daily charters are instead weekly (and proportionately more expensive for part-weeks, if you can persuade someone to rent to you at all). Crewed live on board charters can be pretty expensive (you have 1-2 full time crew members to pay on top of the boat). It would help if you indicated a rough budget to work out the sort of boat that might buy you. Provisioning, deposits, gratuities and gas/oil all drive up the base charter outlay considerably depending on where you want to go. Have you chartered before or is this your first time ?

i found a provider that offers boats for rental. Do you know this one http://www.yachtico.com/ seems to bee exactly what i am searching for?!

That company is just a brokerage so far as I'm aware, but shouldn't be a problem. This one looks like it would be big enough for your party (you can have skipper and hostess on board too) :

It's the usual weekly rental option and realistically priced around $20,000 a week basic in Summer. If budget is not an issue you might be able to get a slightly more comfortable Catamaran if you look around.
