where do you find the audio recordering of a dj set special night?

hy,
a question..

therre was a time that you asked the tape to the dj directly on the console.
now the console are difficult to reach if not impossible..
well,if you want to downlaod a cd of that night of another of your favorite dj.wthat do you do?
i ve search on emule but not many lucky.
where do you search the dj's partys night recordered?
i think they play and register on hd!

i writed'
armada,
manumission and so on on the mule but.. nothingh special found..

perhaps worng method?
