Where can I see drummers on a beach at sunset?

Hola!
I've heard that there's supposed to be a beach were a lot of drummers meet at sunset.
Does anyone know where and when that usually happens?
Looking forward to a week in Ibiza in June :D

Defo bennieras!!! Its lush. I think there are buses there from San An and Ibiza town :?: but better if you've got your own transport. Last time I was up there some guy was also doing yoga and he was amazing to watch... 8O

how far actually is it? how long would it take to drive there? My brother mentioned this to me when he went a couple of years ago, not yet managed to get there 8)
 
Depends on where you are staying,

if San An, I reckon about 45mins (but we have always taken the scenic route so there is probably a quicker way)

If you are staying around Ibiza Town/PDB then I reckon it would be a bit longer, say perhaps an hour, maybe longer.

thanks hun. May have to put it on the agenda this year, as we are driving over anyway :D 8)
 
I think the hippies only meet up on Sunday evenings @ Benniras for drumming. I may be wrong but I think I heard that before. There is also a Sunday in August where hundreds meet up there for a special moon thing in the calender. Beautiful sunset location though, one of the best on the island.

Depends what you are going for I think! I got some of my best pebbles off Benirras beach!! Also the sunset atmosphere is utterly unmissable...

My advice is go later in the day with a bottle of Sangria or a few big bottles of San Mig and sit and enjoy the sunset... try and have a beach day there you will be bored stiff by the time the sunset happens as there are usually quite a few kids there playing during the day, and you are right as a beach its not the best :? But as a sunset venue it is unbeliveable.
