I know they no longer are at Beniras on Sundays :(. So where are they? They must be somewhere......got car hired for next 2 days. Talk to me people!

you *might* be lucky trying to go to benirras on a midweek late afternoon / evening. I heard they sometimes still show up, but not on sundays

Have bought a ticket on ibiza spotlight to go to Benirras vis boat be week tomorrow. No chance they'll play? Was kinda looking forward to hearing the drummers

Read a post on facebook about a guy getting his drum stolen in San An and it looked liked load workers having whip round to get him another, looking at 150-200 euros. Really liked that idea, sense of community and Ibiza spirit. when he's got his new drum, should take him to benirras to play, think he'll just be happy to have a drum to play.

The guy that wrote the post suspected who ever did it would have been coked up to the nines on cheap nasty stuff.

*captain pirate reads post and hops on next flight to Ibiza* :)

Not tonight, dj Harvey 00h30 , set sunday 5pm i guess , only harvey will be fine...as i guess set will in in dc10 closing lineup and i dont like him very much, quiet boring mix...

when we went a few weeks ago,at sunset one of the restaurants was playing drum music !!, but after sunset at the far end of the beach furthest away from restaurants there were some drummers and fire , so at least we saw some drummers, no idea why they were there, instead of main beach, and why it had to be after sunset, but at least we saw them, Dont know if it was a one of, and we were just lucky, or if thats the normal now, maybe someone local could say,
there were also 4 people playing different instruments in the middle of the hippy market roundabout sunset

Its such a nicer experience not being there on a Sunday. I dont blame them for stopping. Some of the pictures of benirras on sundays from last august were unbelievable.

i was so beaten sunday as havent slep and crawl to bed at 7pm, forgetting set Troxler at concrete 5pm

It's not so much that, the difference in clubbing prices has always been there and don't think it's much different now, but drinks prices in small venues have definitely crept up. Apart from hotels which we've all agreed have just got worse and worse value, it's cars, food, drinks etc. for the average tourist who doesn't know where to go and swings from tourist trap to tourist trap which leaves them feeling robbed. The reach of high incidental costs across the island has just gone on expanding so you have to plan more and more carefully to tap-dance round that - and the average Joe there for a relaxing holiday likely doesn't want to have to. Think it's the sector of the market who don't choose to go "AI" or who want to stay in a villa and eat / drink out all the time who have really felt it the most this year.

I'm currently up to my neck in spanish bureaucracy. forms, forms and more forms. DNI this DNI that, ......

There are two types of people in this world - those who have gotten their NIE/NIF and those who have yet to "enjoy" the experience.

Four years of Spanish lessons, three days of "take a ticket" at 6:30am, grumpy officials (with guns), banks not taking cash to stamp your form on a Monday, etc. Aaarrraaaggghhh!!!
